Country-Based Automatic Waivers
Authors from the following countries receive automatic waivers based on World Bank country classifications. No application is required - simply submit your manuscript and the waiver will be applied automatically.
How to Apply for a Hardship Waiver
- Prepare your manuscript and supporting documents
- During online submission, select "Request Waiver" option
- Complete the waiver request form with your details
- Upload supporting documentation (institution letter, financial statement, etc.)
- Submit your manuscript and waiver request together
- Receive confirmation within 5 working days
Important Notes
- Waiver decisions are independent of editorial decisions
- All information provided is kept strictly confidential
- Fraudulent applications will result in rejection and possible reporting
- Waivers cannot be transferred between submissions without approval
- Apply early - requests cannot be processed after acceptance
